Research Interests: Maggie is interested in behavioral and community ecology and wildlife conservation. For her MS, Maggie studied the consequences of immunocontraception management on the behavior and stress physiology of feral horses in North Carolina. Her PhD research will focus on the impacts of elephants on savanna dynamics in Kruger National Park in South Africa.
Background & Other Interests: Growing up in West Virginia, Maggie developed her love for the critters that inhabited the mountains and streams in her backyard. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, dancing, writing to folk music, and exploring with her border collie, Tigger.
