Research Interests: Jack is interested in megaherbivore effects on nutrient cycling in Southern Africa. He recently worked in Kruger National Park setting up large exclusion fences as part of a long term project to study the effects of elephants on the savannah ecosystem.
Background & Other Interests: Jack grew up in Nashville, TN. He spent his childhood in the outdoors, camping and hiking. He still enjoys these activities as well as birding, outdoor fitness, and enjoying good food and drinks with friends.
