Research Interests: Haley has a wide range of interests that surround the large concepts of international, applied mammalian research focused on informing management and aiding conservation efforts. Her background includes research on juvenile treefrog habitat use, human dimensions of Oregon's marine reserves, and managing fellowships for Oregon Sea Grant. Haley's research will focus on how elephants are impacting biodiversity in Kruger National Park, South Africa.
Background & Other Interests: As a born and raised Oregonian, Haley has a passion for exploring nature through backpacking, scuba diving, running, travelling to new countries, and chasing waterfalls. When she's not out on an adventure, Haley enjoys eating smoothies, brewing kombucha, baking sweets, and trying to be creative.
